Chocolate Covered Bacon Ice Cream
Vosges does amazing things with chocolate, a visit to the Vosges Beverly Hills flagship store and you’re whisked away to a chocolate paradise. Their Vosges Mo’s Bacon Chocolate Bar is one of their signature products. Afraid of the bacon chocolate combo? I don’t blame you, but swirled into a nice vanilla ice cream and the salty sweet combo becomes undeniably good.
Chocolate Covered Bacon Ice Cream
Ingredients:
2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 cups whole milk
3/4 cup white sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
1 (3oz) Vosges Mo’s Bacon Chocolate Bar, chopped
Instructions:
Prep an ice cream maker freezer bowl ahead of time.
In a bowl, stir together the heavy cream and milk.
Whisk in the sugar until dissolved, then stir in the vanilla.
Cover and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
Pour the cold mixture into the prepped freezer bowl and freeze in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s directions.
In the last five minutes, add in the chopped chocolate pieces.
When done, transfer to an airtight container and freeze until ready to serve.
Bacon ice cream! I keep hearing about this! I’ve got to try it! This was the first randition I’ve seen with the chocolate in it. I just can’t imagine what’d taste like!
What an interesting flavor of ice cream! Although it sounds weird, I think I would like chocolate covered bacon. I love other salty things with my chocolate such as pretzels and chips. So why not bacon?

One thing I like about your recipe is that you are not using freshly cooked bacon, which might just render a greasy texture into the ice cream.
