Berry Trifle

I have fond dessert memories growing up and one that stands out is a stunning centerpiece of layered cream and berries. My mom’s trifle was beautiful and made me want to dig down deep into the cavernous creamy layers and see what else was inside.

Trifle bowls are obviously the first choice since they have straight sides, but any nice glass bowl will do. Anything that is clear so you can see all the wonderful layers of ingredients.

The mixture of raspberries, blueberries and blackberries give this Berry Trifle a variety of flavors and textures. After it sits overnight all the flavors come together into a luscious dessert that is always a hit at parties.

    Fantastic!!

TJ’s stopped carrying lady fingers, so I had to go with Nilla Wafers which worked just fine… second, I let me lemon pudding harden too much and had to reheat / add some water to make it workable. I arranged heart-shaped strawberries along the outside of my bowl and on top for decoration. So much fun and easy to make! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!
